What are Prime Big Deal Days?
Prime Day started a few years back as a way to celebrate Amazon’s anniversary. Now called Prime Big Deal Days, it’s just for Amazon Prime members and has grown to two days and a much bigger selection of discounted items.
The event will likely offer deals on electronics, gifts, toys, beauty, viral products and much more. (Amazon products usually show up with deep discounts.)
Some deals last the entire event while other Lightning Deals are limited time offers. We’ll share Lightning Deals in our Facebook gift groups for tween and teen girls and tween and teen boys.
Prime Big Deal Days sale deals are exclusively for Amazon Prime members. If you’ve been meaning to sign up, now’s a great time. When you sign up for a Prime membership, you get a 30-day free trial and then pay $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
The free 30-day trial is enough to let you take advantage of the sale and then decide whether or not to stick with the service. You aren’t charged if you cancel within 30 days.
I use my Prime membership primarily for the free two-day shipping, but our family also likes streaming movies and TV shows from Prime Video.

Prepare Ahead of Time
Consider who and what you’re buying for in advance. Ask yourself:
