The standard book rest comes with the book stand mounted to a solid wooden base for stability and cup recess. Cup recess slightly off center to allow area to write/store on foundation.

Reminder...all wood is unique and there will be variations in how a piece stains when a finish is applied. This piece is made from reclaimed wood and pieces so it will have knots, cracks, and other imperfections to give the piece a reclaimed look. These pieces are made out of reclaimed wood and rough sanded.
